Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris is one of the best-known World of Warcraft streamers on Twitch and the creator behind OnlyFangs, the streamer-only Hardcore WoW guild that has produced some of the biggest creator-driven events in World of Warcraft.
After leading OnlyFangs through Classic Hardcore and reviving the guild for the fresh Hardcore servers in 2024, Sodapoppin is now preparing for its next chapter: OnlyFangs 3 in World of Warcraft: Forever Hardcore.
Following Blizzard’s reveal of World of Warcraft: Forever at BlizzCon 2026, Sodapoppin confirmed that OnlyFangs will return for a third season.

Sodapoppin Confirms OnlyFangs 3 for WoW Forever
OnlyFangs 3 is happening.
Sodapoppin confirmed the guild’s return following the announcement of World of Warcraft: Forever, Blizzard’s new level-60 Azeroth experience featuring new quests, zones, dungeons, raids and other content.
Hardcore is also part of Blizzard’s post-launch plans for WoW Forever, giving Sodapoppin a new environment for another OnlyFangs event.
The exact OnlyFangs 3 start date and streamer roster have not yet been announced. Sodapoppin has said that planning for the event now needs to begin.
The confirmation is a major change from earlier in 2026, when plans for an OnlyFangs season based around The Burning Crusade Hardcore were shelved.

Sodapoppin and the Original OnlyFangs (2023)
In 2023, official WoW Classic Hardcore servers gave World of Warcraft players a permanent one-life mode where character death meant the end of the run.
Sodapoppin became closely associated with the Hardcore scene through OnlyFangs, bringing together streamers and WoW players around the permadeath format.
The combination was ideal for streaming. Experienced World of Warcraft players could push difficult content, while less experienced players had to navigate a version of Azeroth where even ordinary mistakes could permanently kill their characters.
Sodapoppin’s experience with World of Warcraft also made him a natural central figure for the guild, helping organise players and progression while creating the rules and structure needed for a large streamer event.
Sodapoppin and OnlyFangs Hardcore (2024–2025)
OnlyFangs returned in late 2024 alongside the fresh WoW Classic Hardcore experience.
This version of the guild became a much larger streamer event, combining established World of Warcraft creators with major variety streamers and players who had considerably less experience with WoW.
That difference in experience became one of the defining parts of OnlyFangs. Veteran players could understand the risks immediately, while newer players regularly found themselves learning Classic WoW mechanics with permanent death hanging over every decision.
Sodapoppin remained one of the central figures behind the event, helping organise the guild and its rules while playing alongside the wider OnlyFangs roster.
Sodapoppin and Tyler1 in OnlyFangs
One of the biggest storylines from the OnlyFangs Hardcore run involved Sodapoppin and Tyler1.
Tyler1 became one of the guild’s most prominent players and ultimately faced Sodapoppin in a duel connected to leadership of OnlyFangs.
Tyler1 defeated Sodapoppin, creating one of the most memorable moments from the guild’s run.
The rivalry also demonstrated why OnlyFangs became much more than a normal WoW guild. The event created its own storylines, rivalries and characters around the underlying Hardcore progression.
Why Did the TBC OnlyFangs Plan Get Cancelled?
After the Classic Hardcore event, Sodapoppin began exploring another OnlyFangs season based around The Burning Crusade Hardcore.
The idea eventually ran into a fundamental problem: TBC’s dungeon and raid content becomes considerably more demanding, making permanent death particularly punishing for a guild containing players with very different levels of World of Warcraft experience.
Making the event viable risked requiring too many experienced WoW players, which would remove much of the unpredictability that makes OnlyFangs entertaining.
The TBC Hardcore version of OnlyFangs 3 was therefore shelved earlier in 2026.
That left the future of the guild uncertain until Blizzard announced WoW Forever.
Why WoW Forever Changes OnlyFangs 3
World of Warcraft: Forever gives Sodapoppin a very different foundation for OnlyFangs 3.
Instead of progressing into an existing expansion such as The Burning Crusade, WoW Forever builds new content around the level-60 Azeroth experience.
That matters for OnlyFangs because experienced players won’t necessarily have years of knowledge about every new quest, dungeon and encounter.
Combining unfamiliar content with Hardcore’s permanent-death rules could restore some of the unpredictability that made previous OnlyFangs events so entertaining.
Sodapoppin has also discussed the wider WoW creator community helping to shape the next event, although the exact rules and structure of OnlyFangs 3 have not yet been confirmed.
When Is Sodapoppin Starting OnlyFangs 3?
There is currently no confirmed start date for OnlyFangs 3.
WoW Forever launches before its Hardcore experience, with Hardcore appearing on Blizzard’s post-launch roadmap rather than being available immediately.
Sodapoppin has said that he prefers the two events being separated, allowing creators to experience WoW Forever normally before returning for a dedicated Hardcore run.
Until Blizzard confirms the WoW Forever Hardcore date and Sodapoppin announces the OnlyFangs schedule, any specific OnlyFangs 3 launch date remains speculation.
Is Sodapoppin a WoW Streamer?
Yes. World of Warcraft has been a major part of Sodapoppin’s streaming career, although he is also a long-running variety streamer.
His experience with WoW stretches back long before OnlyFangs, and he has remained closely associated with the game through Classic, Hardcore and large creator events.
OnlyFangs has also given Sodapoppin a different role from simply playing the game. He has been heavily involved in organising the guild, developing its rules and bringing together streamers with vastly different levels of World of Warcraft experience.

The original TBC Hardcore plan has been shelved, OnlyFangs 3 has been confirmed, and planning for the new event is beginning.
The biggest unanswered questions are now when WoW Forever Hardcore will launch, when OnlyFangs 3 will begin and which streamers will join the roster.
