Could OnlyFangs Come to Old School RuneScape? Soda Weighs In

OnlyFangs.me

If you’ve been following the OnlyFangs community, you already know it started as a wild ride in World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore — a place where death is permanent and content is pure adrenaline. But what happens when a community built on high-stakes gameplay turns its gaze toward Old School RuneScape (OSRS)?

During a recent OSRS Ironman stream, Soda opened up about the idea of bringing OnlyFangs to Gielinor. Spoiler: it’s not as simple as it sounds.

A different kind of hardcore

In WoW Classic Hardcore, Soda felt right at home. He knew the raids, understood the dungeon meta, and could design epic events for both veterans and noobs. But in RuneScape? That’s a different beast entirely.

Soda admitted he simply doesn’t know the game well enough — the raids, the group content, even the community etiquette are all uncharted territory for him. Unlike WoW, where he could easily imagine OnlyFangs members tackling dungeons like Wailing Caverns or Shadowfang Keep, RuneScape’s group activities are more mysterious to him.

“I just don’t know what you do in this game,” Soda said. “I don’t know how raids work, how group content works… I just can’t run it.”

Who could lead an OnlyFangs OSRS guild?

Soda didn’t shut the door completely, though. He suggested that if OnlyFangs ever made the jump to RuneScape, it would need someone with serious OSRS knowledge at the helm — think OdaBlock or B0aty, or another top-tier RuneScape streamer.

These leaders would have to balance the hardcore, high-skill content that veteran RuneScape players crave, while making sure newer players don’t get left behind. It’s a delicate line to walk, and Soda knows it.

One name that stands out is J1mmy.

A core member of OnlyFangs, J1mmy originally made his name playing and streaming Old School RuneScape for years before joining the WoW Classic Hardcore scene. Now, he’s helping guide Soda through the early days of RuneScape — from teaching him mining and smithing basics to helping navigate quests and avoiding classic noob traps. With J1mmy’s deep OSRS knowledge and strong community roots, he could easily play a big role if OnlyFangs ever decided to officially enter the RuneScape world.

Why not now?

For now, Soda plans to focus on his personal OSRS journey, grinding Mining and Smithing, failing at pies, and discovering what makes RuneScape tick — all at his own pace.

But he didn’t rule out an OnlyFangs OSRS guild forever. With the right leadership and community support, it might just happen one day. Until then, he’ll keep no-lifing it on his Ironman and learning the ropes.

Final thoughts

Soda’s honesty about not feeling ready to lead an OnlyFangs RuneScape guild is a reminder that community-driven content takes more than hype — it takes expertise, patience, and a deep love for the game.

For now, the dream of OnlyFangs in OSRS remains on the horizon. But who knows? With the right team, it could become the next big thing in the RuneScape scene.
